Filmed using Super 16mm film, Smile follows a happy-go-lucky young man named Daniel. One day, after Daniel forgets to take his twice a day dose of “Pep-tol,” a mysterious drug that brings the user seemingly infinite pleasure, he discovers that not everything about his quirky pill-popping world is as it seems.
